Top 5 Black Hat Techniques you Should Use Today

By admin On May 3, 2009 No Comments

If you are anything like me you are tired of people discussing all the rules or the what ifs when it comes to black hat techniques. Sure there are rules, but we all know that rules are meant to be broken. If you don’t do it, someone else will. Here are the top five black hat techniques that you need to start taking advantage of today in order to maximize profit and bury your competition. No more ands, ifs or buts. Live a little, take a risk and get ready to reap the rewards. May you end up losing your domain or incurring penalties? Absolutely. Is there a chance that you can make more money than you know what to do with before that happens? You bet.

XSS Raids

Cross site scripting is a very popular black hat technique and for good reason, it works well. This is essentially when a webmaster takes advantage of flaws in other websites. By doing this you can create links that lead from other people’s websites into sites where you are looking to receive traffic. Take advantage of other sites hard work and get their traffic today.

302 Site Hijacking

You can take advantage of high traffic to a competing site by placing a 302 redirecting link to your own website. Not only will this get you more traffic but it was also take away the index position in Google rankings from the other website. Increase your traffic while simultaneously sinking your competitors

Splogs

This is a spin off of the original idea when it comes to stealing content. With splog tools you can automatically take articles from somewhere else using an RSS feed and then scramble it in order to make it original. While the content may not be grammatically correct or appealing, it will bring traffic by the boatloads if done correctly.

Scraping

While blatant plagiarism will get your site penalized in no time or take way the ability to use ads on your site, there are ways around it. You can hire dirt cheap content writers to take original articles from the net and rewrite them to make them look original. Unless in depth research is done, all these articles look real and seem original thus making them a perfect spot to place advertisements.

Link Spamming

This is probably the easiest and most used black hat technique out there. You simply log into as many unprotected blogs as possible and comment on each and every article. You can put a link to your site or simply mention it briefly. Either way this is the easiest way to gain attention and is also completely free.

It is important to keep in mind that these are not exactly legal forms of establishing traffic. If you are one of those people that fear the mundane penalties handed out by Google, then by all means turn away. If you are more of a risk taker and love to take advantage of the opportunities left for you, then start using these tactics to promote your website today.

User Interface and Evolution

By admin On July 24, 2009 No Comments

I thought it might be fun to write what I have noticed recently in the ongoing evolution of the Search Engine industry. To help set the stage – allow me to provide a little background.

That was then…

I was very active in building websites in the mid to late 90’s, I know, I know – that was oh so last century. I learned a great deal about how to help my clients get their websites into good positions on the search engines without using what is referred to today as Blackhat SEO. Eventually my interest in developing websites led to a position in a small dot com where I developed an application for the Automobile Insurance Industry – connecting Claim Service Representatives to a network of repair shops. Fun stuff!

Through an usual turn of events – I ended up starting a small business manufacturing surfboard shaped signs for the surf retail and specialty store markets. Maybe you have seen them for sale in stores like the Ron Jon Surf Shops or the Margaritaville Stores. When it came time to move our product list to the web, I selected an open source shopping cart and after a month of customizing the user interface – went to market. After getting our products online – it was time to focus on optimizing the site for the search engines, and make an attempt to position the sites as best as possible.

Having been “out of the industry” for nearly a decade, I was certain it would not be an easy challenge to spin up again and learn the tricks of the trade and all the new do’s and don’ts of modern day SEO. Turns out, there’s a new bag of tricks being used, but the old fashioned, tried and true methods of generating valuable content – still apply today just like they did 10 years ago and are still rewarded when found by the search engines.

So there you have it, an unusual perspective at best. Having been out of the industry for so long, it was really fascinating to see the changes that have taken place and be in a position to compare them to the way it was when I exited the arena.

What follows are some key observations and occasional postulations on where I think the Internet search industry might be headed. Having gotten our background behind us… here’s the first of three articles I intend to write.

Article 1: Googles Rendition of the Hawthorn Effect

For those that aren’t familiar with the term “Hawthorn Effect” here’s a brief definition and explanation.

The term Hawthorn Effect refers to the tendency of some people to work harder and perform better when they are participants in an experiment. Individuals may change their behavior due to the attention they are receiving from researchers rather than because of any manipulation of independent variables.

This effect was first discovered in 1924 and named by researchers at Harvard University who were studying the relationship between productivity and work environment. Researchers conducted these experiments at the Hawthorn Plant of Western Electric in Chicago Il. and found that productivity increased due to attention from the research team and not because of changes to the experimental variable.

So… how does this relate to Google in this century?

Google is watching you. Before you get excited and run to grab your bathrobe – I don’t mean in a clandestine or illicit way – but in a user behavioral and beneficial manner. Google is working on several products and projects that will eventually reshape how the search engine will respond to your interaction. Google captures your request for information and measures the response to the data it provides to you. By measuring your response, Google obtains key data that helps them understand how to better manipulate the results that are being returned to you. There are several tools currently in place or that are in various stages of beta testing to help them determine their course of action and refine their process in their effort to produce a better user experience for you – their customer.

One such tool is the “Web History” utility that is now available to all users of Google Search. Using this tool, Google will collect information about the sites you visit and use it to generate a better response to your queries. Some of the key points of the utility are:

1)       The ability to view and manage your web activity – search across the full text of the pages you’ve visited, including Google Searches, web pages, images and news stories.

2)       Get search results that are more personalized and based on the things you’ve searched for on Google and the sites you’ve visited.

3)       Get reports on your trends and web activity – how many searches did you conduct and at what time of the day. Which sites do you frequent the most?

You can read more about the capabilities and features of Web History here: http://www.google.com/psearch

How will Web History affect the Search Engine industry?

It will help Google provide you with results that you want to see the most, and, when combined with another tool in the beta process, will help remove items that you are not interested in seeing in your search results.

Want to try an experiment?

Break out your google goggles and let’s get started! Begin by creating a user account with Google. Then turn Web History on for a week or so, and chase your tail looking at keywords that are specific to the ranking of your website or a site you are maintaining. Check several times a day, closing and relaunching your browser each time you check. Eventually you are going to see a message near the top of the window that the results of your search are being influenced by … you guessed it… Web History. Pay attention to where your site is ranking with Web History turned on.

Now, after a week of allowing “Web History” to collect some information… go to your google account and turn it off, and check your page positions on Google for the same Keywords? Did you see any difference? You betcha! Google is watching you and capturing your behavior and they are manipulating your search results to match your expectations and what they perceive is your preference based on the “experiences” they have collected from you. If Web History perceives that Blue Donuts  by a particular manufacturer are important to you in the majority of your searches, they will bubble to the top of the page while other Blue Donuts by different manufactures will sink lower and lower.

Is it the end of the Search Engine Optimizing Industry?

Probably not, factors that will account for the appearance of one sites links above another may not be completely limited to the users interaction and preference in the future, other traditional factors such as content and page ranking may continue to play a part in winning the position on the page ahead of some of the clients perceived preferences, in addition to other new developments currently underway.

Does it end here?

I for one don’t think so. There’s at least two more prominent areas where Google can capture user preferences and then modify the result set to meet their expectations, and they are actively testing or running programs to do exactly that right now. I’ll cover the second area in my next article. “There’s Room for 10″.

This is my first online article and I’d like to thank those that have taken the time to read it. I hope you will find this useful and that it might stimulate some additional discussion on the subject material covered.

Money Makes The World

By admin On July 24, 2009 No Comments

Money makes the world go around, and money is the reason that so many people have looked to the internet to start a business. Online, everything is easier, as one can make a sale without ever speaking to a person or closing a deal. Therefore, it often becomes easier for individuals to compromise their morals and/or take the easy way out in order to earn an extra dollar. However, those who always look for the quick dollar will ultimately shoot themselves in the foot, as it results in short term cash, and it never builds any long-term wealth.

Underhanded, short-term methods of earning money online are commonly known as “blackhat” methods. While they are not always considered immoral, they often break the traditional rules of internet marketing. Blackhat methods find loopholes in the system of the internet and attempt to exploit them. As a result, they can result in very large sums of cash very quickly. However, blackhat methods can be easy to abuse, and marketers can carry them to a point that cause harm to others. Because the internet makes it possible to carry on business without seeing or speaking to other people, it is easy to justify the harm that blackhat methods can cause to other people.

The downfall of blackhat methods occurs when the exploitable loopholes are closed. When the opportunity to exploit becomes impossible, the marketer has to rethink his or her strategy. When a blackhat strategy becomes obsolete, those who were counting on it to produce a steady stream of income are left in the dark back at ground zero.

The answer to this dilemma is to produce long-term income generating systems. An internet marketer’s job is not simply to make money, but to find problems and solve them. One does this by connecting buyers with products that will meet their needs and/or serve their desires. In doing so, a commission, and large amounts of money, can be generated. If one recognizes the role that he or she plays as an affiliate, he or she can build up a network of income producing systems that are sustainable for the long term

While it can be a temptation for internet marketers to pursue blackhat methods because of their potential for quick cash, it can be a dangerous road and a slippery slope. Instead, a better way to build a business online is in the development of long term income producers that not only pay the bills, but they meet the needs of customers.

Marketing Techniques

Introduction

Clifinar web marketing seminars are a type of seminar about web marketing techniques. The Clifinar is presented at a company called Compucall. The seminar dates back at least to Ancient Greece, were philosophers debated metaphysical and ethical issues. During the clifinar, participants debate SEO approaches. It’s fun and educational too.

SEO Has Real Clout

Companies, Universities, NGOs, and webmasters are waking up to the importance of search engine optimization (SEO) as a means of driving more visitors to their websites. SEO is really one element of the broader field of search engine marketing (SEM). Both are fields that cannot be ignored when it comes to furthering organizational goals.

Why Invest in SEO and SEM

Search engine Marketing is a more accurate science than other forms of marketing. The reason is that with Internet traffic can be analyzed in a way that conventional marketing channels cannot. The ability to analyze, conclusions and adjust the strategy accordingly is crucial for a successful marketing campaign. Internet marketers use tools such as Clickstracks and Google Analytics in order to see exactly what is driving visitors to a particular website, and whether the website is holding their attention. The information obtained from analytics software can be used to make marketing decisions that can be applied very quickly.

Blackhat and Whitehat SEO

Various SEO techniques are labeled blackhat and whitehat. This topic was covered in recent Clifinar web marketing seminars. Blackhat SEO techniques do not help users find the content that they are probably seeking. On the other end of the spectrum, whitehat SEO techniques help users find good, relevant content. Since Google’s main objective is to help users relevant content, Google dislikes blackhat SEO methods techniques, and possibly even penalizes those who deploy them.

The Importance of Content as Explained by Clifinar

Content is a very important part of any overall search engine marketing strategy. Just like a clifinar, the better and the more interesting the content, the more chances you have of grabbing people’s attention. This is a long term strategy, and not one that can yield results overnight. However, with time, patience, and consistent efforts, providing quality content will pay off.

Clifinar Summary

Search Engine Marketing is about finding connections. Also, SEO techniques are great, but they are not enough. It’s important to have a carefully thought out strategy, without which it will be difficult to produce significant results.

Quality Agressive SEO

By admin On July 24, 2009 No Comments

I have noticed a growing trend among webmasters who are desperately seaking top search engine positions for their website. A few years ago Blackhat SEO was seen as some kind of evil practice which would lead you directly to hell. But over the last few months it seems Blackhat SEO has become quite popular, and many webmasters are now using blackhat methods to get their website ranked!

I don’t condone or use these methods myself, but i think it is worth studying the methods used by the blackhats, or as they’re sometimes known Search Engine Spammers. Firstly lets take a look at each type of SEO and explain what each one does.

Black Hat SEO:

This is what people have come to refer to as search engine spammers. They create low quality documents and sites with content generated by software

and rank them highly for target keywords. These sites add no value to the web because they provide no fresh content, no extra information and generally very little except monetization tactics for the site owner.

Thats what black hat SEOs are after: money. The tactics used to make it happen are frowned upon by most mainstream webmasters as well as the search engines. Some of it is borderline unethical while most is not. Its a judgment call I am not here to make

White Hat SEO:

In my book, white hat search engine optimization is a contradiction in and of itself. If you are a white hat, you are doing everything according to Googles

rules. That means you are building sites purely with the user in mind and with total disregard for the search engines. Google puts it this way “build the site as if search engines didnt exist”. That

makes you a white hat. If thats what youre doing, then you are not doing any kind of optimization at all.

White hat? Only by accident: it doesnt really exist.

Gray Hat SEO:

This ranges from very light to black hat and could in fact encompass all SEOs. It really just becomes a question of the level of aggressiveness you are willing

to use in your tactics as well as the content sources you will use. An example is syndicating other peoples content on your blog with just enough of your own text to make it pass the duplicate content filters.

Ok so that’s a summary of each of the hat colours, lets look at the darkside now, and check out some of the methods they use.

As you may be aware most blackhat seo’s don’t usually create their own content/websites by hand. They use software/scripts to automatically create hundreds and thousands of pages use content generators. The best known content generators are:

RssEvolution

RSSGM

Fantomas ShadowMaker

So what about promotion? White Hat SEO’s usually ask other website owners for reciprocal links and submit their links to link directories. Well that’s not how the blackhats do it! Blackhat SEO’s refer to their way of gaining backlinks as “link dumping”. This basically means placing as many links on interactive websites as possible. When i say interactive i mean websites that run scripts such as blogs, guestbooks and forums .etc.

Comment Spam:

In it’s purest form this basically refers to leaving comments on blogs, with a link back to their website. But you can imagine how long this process would be searching for blogs and commenting on each of them, so the blackhats usually buy or more often code their own software to automate this process. The effect is hundreds and thousands of backlinks to their websites.

Forum Spam:

There are millions of forums online, and blackhats target them too. Much like comment spam, they will basically just register at forums (sometimes not needed if guest accounts are allowed) and spread their

links to their website across threads. Now as always blackhats want to make this process automated so they use a program known as Xrumer to automatically register and post threads at thousands of forums.

Guest Book Spam:

This is an old skool method of link dumping used by blackhats but it is still widely used, it basically means using software to automatically post comment on guestbooks. Although this is the old way of doing it, many still use this technique because a lot of older guestbook software doesn’t use the “No Follow” tag.

Trackback Spam:

One of the newer link dumping techniques is trackback spam. It was invented so that blogs can serve as conversation forums. When a website links to a blog post, the blog will recognize this link and create a link back to the website. This is done so that readers of the blog can access relevant content or see what others have written that relates to the blog post they just read. This is a very efficient blackhat way of getting targeted one-way backlinks. Much more so than the methods above.

So that’s a quick summary of how Blackhat SEO’s go about getting ranked. I don’t recommend using these practices as they often lead to search engines banning your website from the SERP’s.

Domain Names and Personal Websites

By admin On July 24, 2009 No Comments

I decided to bring this topic up, im sure it has been cover a large number of times before, however i don’t feel it has been covered by someone who trialled both methods and had mixed emotions about the two.

I Currently own a Personal website, Yes its in a market that i have a major hobby in, this being Car Stereo’s, It costs me money to run the website, it costs me money to host the website, the domain costs me money, and sad to say, i dont make any money off the website what-so-ever, and probably will never really profit from this site, except for maybe the few dollars here and there.

This does not bother me one bit, because Car Audio is one of my biggest hobbies, and i like sharing my knowledge when possible, about anything in which i have the experience, I guess this is why i did IT Support for so many years, it was a forfilling experience everytime you solve an issue that has someone at the point of ripping out their hair, and i guess i just enjoy assisting people when possible.

However, i feel im getting rather off topic here, About a year ago i was talking with one of my mates regarding the best ways to make money online. He suggested to me, purchase a few domain names, try and increase their pagerank by loading up wordpress & writing articles relating to the domain, or i can pay someone to write articles for me, chuck on a few google ads and hope for the best, So i did this…

4 months down the track, i had about 10 pages visits total, over 200 articles, and nothing to show for it, i guess the market was either not that special, OR i was just too late to get into that niche, It seems That WhiteHat method had failed me..

The disappointment of this failure led me to speak with another friend, who has shown me (in the past) how he managed to get front page on google for a random keyword, which i thought was pretty cool, So i ventured down this path for a bit.

My mate suggested adding a large number of keywords hidden to the bottom of all my websites, so i tried this too, WOW, it seemed to work ok, i got some more page visits, and a few bucks from google here and there, but still nothing to write home about. So, i was let down again, BlackHat Failed me this time… :( oh the disappointment.

My summary on Blog writing is simple, Yes there is money involved, however using either blackhat OR whitehat methods is 99% of the time going to help very little if you are trying to get your foot into such a bit Niche market. Try market something that isnt very common, To find a relatively untouched market, go to google and searth “allintitle:YOUR KEYWORD” and Click Search, On the right it will say “Results *-* of about A NUMBER (this is what you want to be VERY LOW). For example…:

“allintitle:make money online” Returns; Results 1 – 50 of about 856,000.

This is probably a niche market you should not bother trying to get your foot into.

However, lets say you enjoy… Woodwork… and lets just go with someone simple here, Search for. how to make a treehouse:

“allintitle:how to make a treehouse” Returns; Results 1 – 32 of 32.

This is definately something you could get into, with out a problem, and if you make e-books on how to build a safe sturdy Treehouse, and sell it for $$ you might not see much of a profit, but im sure you would make more then if you tried to blog about ways to make money =)

The niche market im trying to get into (car audio) is going to be a hard one to crack, however i havent put any effort into trying to build a PR yet, and i still have a fair few pages indexed in google, so that is a good start i guess, i get approx 50 visits a month to a site i don’t promote, and have failed to keep updated (yes i made a mistake, however i will be fixing that up as soon as i finish writing this blog post :) )

I hope you find this blog post useful, i am trying to get better at writing blogs, and i look forward to writing alot more blogs in the future.

Blogging Software

By admin On July 24, 2009 No Comments

you doesn’t know

After reading this article you will know why Rob Benwell’s Blogging To The Bank (BTTB for short) is worth a review.

Blogging To The Bank 3.0 is an upgrade or addition to the previous ebook report that Rob published not so long years ago. Basically it teaches you how to make money with your blogs, and not only making money, teaches you how to become a super-affiliate, promoting other people products using your blog.

In his report, he teaches the 7 Step Blueprint to Become a Super Affiliate Using Free Blogs.

#1 Researching the Market:

This is the foundation in which you’ll learn if the market is hungry for your offer, researching using free tools like Google keywords or free Wordtracker or choosing the right keywords is essential for a successful “affiliate” blog.

I use Google Suggestor to show related keywords. It’s a software that is no longer available in the market, basically it fetches keywords in Google searches and suggest related keywords and keywords modifiers.

It’s very important and crucial in researching your niche because you want to decide if you want to crush or dominate your competition by being a research junkie. The tools and resources are free, sometimes there are paid services but you can still do away with free tools available online.

#2 Creating Your Blog

This next step is like building your house. This is where you want to place all your contents like your videos, your articles, your audios downloadable free report. Creating a blog is not difficult. You can start creating a free blog at Blogspot.com or Wordpress.com. Go there and create an account, start entering new post about the niche you are researching in step 1 and you are almost there.

If you already have an experience, you can have your own blog hosted with your own domain name such as myownwebsite.com/blog and brand yourself as the next superstar in blogging. And the most popular blogging software is Wordpress, it’s free, you can install it through your website control panel, or just upload it via FTP on to your website root directory or folder. If you are new however (or a newbie, you don’t know anything about FTP, etc) then I suggest get this newbie profit system how to start your online business from scratch.

#3 Monetizing Your Blogs

In this step, you need to learn how to place ads, banners and monetizing ideas on your blog. These are ads you’ve seen on most blogs. If you wonder how and where you can get products to promote go to Clickbank.com marketplace and search by category and enter keywords that fit about your niche blog.

You can also place Google Adsense on your blog, or Clickbank hopfeed. The possibilities of monetizing your blog is endless but do not overdo it. Sometimes, it become annoying that instead you keep your readers they will just stay away.

Hot tip: Instead of placing lots of ads on your website, focus on getting them into your list and create a special page that target them alongside the ad. That will increase clickthrough and conversion!

#4 Getting Content:

If you are lazy creating contents for your blog, you can buy private label right articles, modify them, change the synonyms of the keywords you are bidding and post them on your blog. Or, you can go to scriptlance, bid someone who can write for you for an article, it’s doesn’t cost too much maybe $2-$5 as much as $15 per article depending on your niche really.

Another way, is to let your subscribers have the right to create articles on your blog, give them incentives, whatever and you have new and fresh articles every post. Instead of them being subscribers, you let them become Editors and Authors.

#5 Blogging Tips

This step, Rob Benwell layout his tips on blogging. How to optimize your website with keywords, where and how to place keywords, linking, the whole bunch of stuff. It’s how to optimized your keywords in the search engine ranking. Also, submitting your RSS to different feeds is one way to boost your blog’s visibility.

My tip: Search your competitor, examine his blog, be a spy and as much possible dominate them by making your blog better.

#6 Getting Your Blog Seen

This step is one of the important elements of a successful blog, you need to get traffic to your blog. Without traffic, nobody will know you have something to offer. You need traffic so that people will learn about some stuff you promote to make you money.

How to get traffic? How to generate traffic to your blog?

There are many ways, some simple some complicated. Some involve money or lots of money and then some are free as you see there are various ways.

First the most effective way is write an article and submit it to article directory. And you only submit to those article directory that are high value PR sites which can drive traffic. I recommend you can start with Ezinearticles but there are still others that worth the try and get your blog rank high in Google searches.

The other method is press release, there are free press release site but also there are paid site like PRweb but it’s worth it. You can also get traffic through forums by being a forum member, it’s only a slow traffic if you do it through forum. Try going to WarriorForum and register an account. Build a reputation and you then have ways to post your blog url in the signature or offer people about what’s in your blog.

Other ways for effective traffic is Web2.0 (there’s a lot of ways how to do this and will be beyond the scoop of this article), comment posting and blackhat or grey hat methods (I won’t elaborate more on this methods because that’s another topic)

#7 Creating a Network

Here he teaches you how to interlink your blogs, once you get the hang of it you can start linking each other to form a network.

Now, that’s in his last BTTB and now that he released his BTTB version 3, he added software into the mix. Article Assistance and Blog Announce Pro

He also provided a whitehat and blackhat PDF report that shows how to get you and your blog into one of the elite. In other words, techniques how to a successful blogger using whitehat and blackhat strategies.

There’s a bonus included which is 5 niche products – wedding planning, quit smoking, golf, dog training and discusfish.

CONCLUSION, Straight From the Horses Mouth

Blogging to the bank may not be for you, if you are already earning $5K~$20K or $30K as a professional blogger because almost all of the stuff is already known to you, except only for the fact that in his whitehat and blackhat strategy report, I find it new so you can still learn from his Blogging To The Bank 3.0

If you are an experienced blogger but haven’t meet your desired income consistently, you still need to learn Rob Benwell stuff, more importantly his softwares, Article Assistance and Blog Announcer Pro and also the report – whitehat.df and blackhat.pdf. Itr’s worth that price of his $37 BTTB3.

So, I recommend it, I use it and I’m on my way bloging my way to the bank.

Advertising Strategy

By admin On July 24, 2009 No Comments

Building your MLM business can be a frustrating experience if you aren’t experienced in advertising.  When I got involved in my MLM company, I didn’t know how to advertise at all and as a result I struggled to a level that I never want to experience again in my life.

When I found out that I could create 50 – 100 leads per day online for free, I was excited and tried almost every online MLM advertising strategy you could imagine.  Some of them worked, and continue to work today, and some of them I decided to never spend one ounce of energy on, ever again – and neither should you.

First off, let me share with you what you SHOULD NOT do.

One thing you should absolutely NEVER use is ANY FORM of ‘Blackhat’ MLM advertising.  The term ‘Black Hat’ refers to any attempt on the part of the marketer to ‘trick’ search engines or websites into thinking that you are something you’re not in an attempt to subversively generate traffic for your MLM business.

This is not only irritating for the thousands of people who click on pages that are supposed to have one thing and have another, but it is frustrating as a marketer to constantly be changing the search engines absolutely HATE blackhat MLM advertising.  Why do search engines, people, and marketers get annoyed by subversive practices?  Plain and simple, it is annoying.

One example we see constantly of Blackhat tactics is the MLM distributors advertising in the ‘Jobs’ section on craigslist.   Because there is so much subversive MLM advertising in the Jobs section at craigslist (MLM is not a job), it is a pain for even a legitimate company to post their ad to the Jobs section.  Plain and simple:  if you want to succeed don’t use Blackhat strategies.

So what are some MLM advertising techniques that work?  These Search Engine friendly strategies can bring you long term success, and are on the cutting edge of marketing trends.

1.  Article Marketing – My absolute favorite way of marketing online is Article Marketing.  Using Article Marketing as your primary SEO MLM Advertising tactic will pay off big in the long run if you stick with it.  Using this MLM advertising strategy, I have approximately 25% of everyone who reads my articles visit my website.  (And I have A LOT of article views).  Not only is Article Marketing free, but once you generate the traffic, it stays there on the search engines forever.

2.  The fastest growing market segment of the internet right now is video – and it is one of the most simple, effective ways possible to generate massive amounts of traffic to your website.  The fastest way to dominate niche keywords online is to use video services to DOMINATE MLM advertising for your company.  The price?  Free of charge.

3.  Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace provide a new generation of marketing strategies to the MLM advertisers of the 21nd century.  Social Marketing is the fastest way to build relationships with thousands of people, and the cost?  Free.  Seriously, Social Networking is the wave of the future and there are plenty of ways to generate 20-50 leads per day just using Social Media MLM advertising.

4.  Blogging – Search engines LOVE blogs!  If you don’t have a business blog – start one today.  People, Search Engines, and Media all LOVE blogs.  This allows you to target keyword phrases, dominate market niches, and take your MLM advertising to a personal, human level.

5.  As far as paid MLM advertising goes, Google Adwords is the way to go.  It lets you target THE EXACT people that you are looking for, while they are searching for terms that YOU SELECT.  Stop putting money into newspaper advertising!  Put that money in Google Adwords – it will be MUCH better spent over the long haul.  PPC is expensive, as well as being effective.  Don’t attempt google adwords without first receiving training on how to do it properly.

So wheere is the best place to begin?  You need a personally branded website to be successful in MLM advertising – and you should set one up before you do anything else.  Then focus all of your time, effort, and attention on ONE marketing technique until you are a master of it.  Stick with that one marketing method until you are getting more than 10 leads per day.  When you are a master of one technique, then master another one.

I hope this helped.  I wish you the best in your MLM advertising success!

Nuke SEO

By admin On July 23, 2009 No Comments

A couple of days ago I received an email, from a mailing list that I am subscribed to I might add, that was touting the wonders of a new piece of software called SE Nuke.

(No, I am not an affiliate, but it is only fair to add a link to their website when doing a review. I saw a few other reviews that were not linking to the SE Nuke website, which I think is very unfair.)

So just what is SE Nuke?

According to the SE Nuke site, it’s “the most powerful search engine optimization software ever created”.

Obviously, I was intrigued. Could this new piece of software automate the processes I’ve been using manually for quite some time now? Could SE Nuke reduce my work day? Really triple my bottom line? Help me dominate the first three pages of Google like the sales page says?

Yes say Joe Russell and Areeb Bajwa, SE Nuke’s developers / promoters.

But when reading on, I had my doubts. You see, I’ve been working online for over 13 years. Designing, developing, and optimizing websites for solid search engine performance. Along the way learning many valuable methods of backlinking, link baiting, and link building in order to obtain long term placement in the SERP’s (Search Engine Result Pages).

One thing that I have learned about building solid, LONG TERM, SEO results is that there are absolutely no shortcuts. No magic bullets, no where to buy magic beans on the way to market that will lead to the golden goose. No sir, some of the wording on the SE Nuke sales page is disturbing. At least to me, because I happen to know that some of the tactics SE Nuke offers will eventually hurt your website more than it will help it.

SE Nuke sounds like a good idea, and the methods it uses really are good for SEO optimization of a website if you were to do them all manually. The SE Nuke developers have put together a really nice, FREE, ebook to download that offers very valuable advice to users wishing to manually optimize their website.

Understand, this review is not a slam on SE Nuke, or Joe Russell and Areeb Bajwa. I did in fact read the entire e-book that they are giving away, and it does give some generic, but sound SEO advice. Using social bookmarking, video sites, web 2.0 sites, and hub pages IS an excellent method for SEO and SERP domination.

But where I have to differ is when I hear really disturbing wording that over the years, time and time again, I’ve seen sites be cast into the bowels of the blacklist. The ever dreaded search engine exclusion. The blackhat SEO hell.

SE Nuke claims to automate processes that should not be automated.

Think about the spam you receive each and every day in your email. This is automated spam, generated by hackers and spammers that send out millions of unwanted solicitations daily. Clogging the internet and your inbox with garbage and junk.

Now compare this to the top websites online. If you were the owner of one of these monsters, like http://www.youtube.com or http://www.propeller.com (owned by Google and Netscape / AOL respectively), wouldn’t you be working feverishly to provide quality content to your users? Wouldn’t you spend some of that multi million dollar budget working on thwarting the efforts of duplicate content? Of course you would.

SE Nuke talks about ’spinning’ titles, creating hundreds of article variations from seed articles, and tricking the search engines.

When I read this, especially the ‘tricking the search engines’ comment, I had the urge to hide my url’s and run for the hills. If you have been online for any amount of time, you know for a fact that efforts to ‘trick the search engines’ are always, I repeat, ALWAYS countered by the same search engines you are trying to trick into giving you the listing.

Further, SE Nuke really shocked me by insinuating that you should actually use someone else’s article, and then create variations of that article (SE Nuke calls this a seed article). This is stealing my friends. It’s copyright violation at the very least, and it’s not the first time a piece of software has tried to get this by the search engines and their algorithms. No, it’s been tried before, and it always fails. It always turns out badly for the people that believe it’s a shortcut. Don’t steal the hard work of another writer, please. It’s bad karma at the very least, and certainly not good business ethics.

Tricking, spinning, and seeding, are black hat SEO tactics. Period.

Yes, you might in fact nab the first three pages in Google by using the black hat SEO tactics offered by SE Nuke. You might even have them for some time. But ultimately, you will lose these listings. Because Google is smart. AOL is smart. Yahoo is smart. These are fortune 500 companies my friends, and if you think that they are going to offer poor results for their users for any length of time, you are mistaken. They have giant staffs, people who work for them that are looking for programs like SE Nuke, in order to continue to provide excellent search results on their SERP pages.

Nope, SE Nuke is not the long term magic bullet, because the magic bullet for good SEO simply does not exist. If you are serious about making the web a viable, long term source of income, then it takes a viable, long term plan.

It takes work.

You want to take your website to the top of the search engine listings? Then you need to do the work necessary. You need good SEO. You need a plan. Then you need to follow through with that plan.

No software in the world, including SE Nuke, is going to do that work for you. No SEO automation is a good idea for long term business development. Ever.

When you read the words ‘trick’ or ’spin’ or ’seed’, run away. Run away fast.

Know what you are going into if you decide to buy and use SE Nuke. Know that you might get much more than you bargained for in the long run.
